Dr. Jill Kiefer is back this year to direct CArtsCon 2017. The arts and teaching are her passions! Jill is the Director of the Cultural Art History, Fine Arts, and Media graduate programs offered by Warnborough College–and is the Director of What About Art?–an organization devoted to bringing Art to Everyone. Jill has developed and implemented comprehensive academic and lifelong learning programs worldwide–and has taught at several prestigious institutions in the USA and abroad. Jill is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi—the oldest and most selective academic honor society dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all fields of higher education. CArtsCon 2017, Assistant Director
Soon to be Dr. Celina B. de Senisterra was born and grew up in Argentina, where she received a diploma of Architect from the National University of La Plata, and worked for 10 years in her private architectural office, as well as in cultural administration at the British Argentinian Cultural Institute, an educational organization associated with the British Council where she had previously obtained a Certificate of Translation English-Spanish.
After moving to Canada, she completed a Master of Arts (Art History) at the University of Toronto, Ontario, in 2008, followed by an 18-month Internship at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Ontario, in the Registrar’s and Curator’s offices, working in research projects, catalogue for the Virtual Vaults, copyright holders identification, research and draft writing of acquisition justifications for submission to the Canadian Cultural Property Review Board. Since then, she has continued being a docent at the McMaster University Museum of Art in Hamilton, Ontario.
Celina has completed her doctoral research through Warnborough College and is currently finishing her dissertation. She expects to participate in this year’s Graduation ceremony, which takes place right before CArtsCon 2017.
